Brazil Santos Fancy Tristar: Your Favorite Filter Coffee with a Mild Character

Discover Brazil Santos Fancy Tristar, the most popular filter coffee in our range. This high-quality coffee from Brazil proves that excellent coffee specialties can also come from the world's largest growing country.

In 1720, coffee was introduced to Brazil from French Guiana. Today, the country is the largest coffee-producing nation, accounting for about one-third of global production. While a large portion is destined for industrial roasters, Brazil also produces some truly exceptional microlots and coffees like our Tristar with a cupping score of 83 points.

The Region: Cerrado and Mogiana

The Tristar originates from the renowned regions of Mogiana and Cerrado. The Cerrado region is known for its flat landscape, which allows for efficient row planting. Harvesting here is partly mechanical, with the remaining cherries subsequently harvested by hand.

Typical for the Cerrado region are rich volcanic clay soils, low humidity, plenty of sunshine, and cool nights. Our coffee beans are a blend of Bourbon and Mundo Novo varieties and are processed using the pulped natural method. This semi-dry method is used to enhance the sweet, chocolatey characteristics of the coffee and reduce acidity.

Character: Mild, Smooth, and Digestible

This Brazilian coffee is known and loved for its smooth, naturally mild taste, medium body, and low acidity. These characteristics make the Santos Fancy Tristar a particularly low-acid and digestible coffee for daily enjoyment.

We have been cultivating cooperation with our partners in Brazil since 2010 to consistently offer you this high-quality coffee fresh from the growing altitudes (approx. 900 – 1,100 meters).
